Annotate lecture slides
with pen and color

Underline, write and draw on the slide like a printout,
and it stays saved with that lecture for good.

Stylus, finger or mouse

With an Apple Pencil, S Pen or Wacom tablet, your finger or a mouse, in the browser. Rest your palm and nothing happens.

Circle it and ask

Circle a calculation or a graph with the lasso and tap Ask Mina: she sees what you drew along with that part of the slide.

Plenty of margin

Slides float on an infinite canvas. Write on them and around them, for the arrow that points out or the math that did not fit.

From a clean slide to your own, annotated

  1. Tap Draw on top

In the viewer of a presentation or the reader of a PDF, with the side note open, Draw on top shows up at the bottom center.

  2. Write and highlight

Pen, highlighter, eraser and lasso in the bar at the bottom, with three quick colors and twelve more. A two-finger tap undoes.

  3. Ask Mina

Circle what you wrote and tap Ask Mina: "is this step right?" or "turn it into text". Done takes you back to what you were reading.

What students ask before annotating with Filmina

Do I need an iPad?

No. It works in the browser with an Apple Pencil, S Pen or Wacom tablet, your finger or a mouse, with nothing to install.

Can I see what I drew later?

Yes. While reading, your drawing shows on each page, and what is in the margins shows on the canvas, which you reopen with Show drawings. It shows up on your other devices within seconds.

Does Mina read my handwriting?

Only when you ask, with the lasso and Ask Mina. Nothing you write by hand reaches her on its own or goes into the explanation.

Can I draw in my notes too?

Yes. In a note, Draw adds a drawing block that opens full screen, on an infinite dotted canvas.

How much does it cost?

You can start free, no credit card. Pro gives you more minutes, more questions to Mina and more practice, and it is paid monthly inside the app.
