Record and transcribe
lectures with AI, live

Mina listens to the class and transcribes it as you write.
When it ends, you get a summary by topic.

Transcribes while you write

Your note on one side and the transcript on the other, on the same notebook page. Go to another screen and it keeps recording.

Write like in Notion

Every line is a block: headings, lists, to-dos and toggles with /. Whatever you paste from Notion keeps its formatting.

A summary with what to do

Sorted by topic, with To do (assignments and dates) and Questions from the class, with what was asked and the answer.

From the live class to a summary by topic

  1. Tap Record class

It is in the left sidebar. Before you start, Filmina checks your microphone and connection; when all is good, tap Start transcribing.

  2. Take notes alongside

Type, draw or dictate in your note while Mina listens. If the internet drops, the recording keeps going and is transcribed once you are back.

  3. Stop and read the summary

Tap Stop and Mina goes over the whole recording. At the top, switch between Transcript and Summary; the class is saved in Class notes.

What students ask before recording a class

Is the audio saved?

No. The audio only lives until the final pass; what stays is the text, next to your notes in the subject's notebook.

What if I sit far back or miss class?

Far back? Let a classmate transcribe creates a link. Your classmate opens it on their phone with no account and records with your minutes, and the transcript and summary land in your note.

Can it read my handwriting?

Yes. With Extract the text, Filmina reads what is written in the photo, handwriting too, and leaves it as text under the photo so you can check it against the original.

Can I bring my notes over from Notion?

Yes. Whatever you copy from Notion or a document and paste into the notebook keeps its formatting, tables included. Tab and Shift + Tab nest lines just like there.

How many hours can I record?

Record class and Dictate share monthly hours: one on Free and ten on Pro. When you start, the note shows how much you have left, and if they run out mid-class, what was recorded stays.
