Filmina is free to start: the Free plan needs no credit card and doesn't expire. Filmina Pro costs US$8 a month, billed monthly with automatic payment. Both plans have the same features; Pro raises every limit, and you can cancel it anytime.

What each plan includes

Free and Pro have the same features: explanations out loud, chat with Mina, summaries, mind maps, podcasts, practice, the study plan, recording classes and the notebook. What changes is how much of each you get:

• Monthly limits start over on the first day of each month and don't roll over. The 60 welcome minutes are used first and don't expire.
• Listening again to something Mina already explained doesn't use minutes: only what is generated for the first time does.
• Documents, books, audio and video that you read or listen to in the reader have no limit on either plan. Each file can be up to 30 MB.
• A daily limit also applies on both plans, so nobody burns a whole month in one afternoon. It only shows up with very heavy use and comes back the next day.

How much Pro costs where you live

Filmina Pro costs US$8 a month. The Pro card above reads the current price for your country from the Filmina app, so if it ever differs from the numbers on this page, the one on the card is the one that counts.

You pay in US dollars through Stripe, as a subscription with automatic payment. Filmina never sees or stores your card details: the payment provider handles them.

If you run out of something on Pro before the month ends, Recharge Pro restarts that month's limits (explanation hours, questions to Mina and transcription hours) with a single payment of US$5. It doesn't renew and doesn't carry over to the next month.

How to go Pro

Create your account for free at app.getfilmina.com: you sign in with a code sent to your email, with no password and no card. Pro is paid inside the app, not on this website.

You can go Pro from the account menu (Go Pro), from Filmina settings › Subscription, or from the button that shows up when you reach a limit. There's no free trial of Pro: the Free plan is the way to try Filmina, with every feature and lower limits.

How to cancel

In Filmina settings › Subscription, choose Cancel subscription. You can also cancel without signing in, from the Cancellation button at the bottom of every page on this site: type your account's email, confirm with a code and it's canceled right away.

Once you cancel, you won't be charged again. Pro lasts until the end of what you already paid for, and then your account moves to Free with everything you saved: files, notes, summaries and progress.

If you change your mind after paying, you can ask for a full refund within 14 calendar days if you paid in US dollars, or 10 days if you paid in Argentine pesos, by emailing info@getfilmina.com with the subject "Withdrawal". It applies to the first monthly purchase and to each recharge. The conditions are in the terms.

Frequently asked questions

Is Filmina free?

Yes. Filmina has a free plan with no credit card and no end date: 60 minutes of explanation to start and then 20 a month, up to 10 presentations, 30 questions to Mina a month, one practice per file a month and 1 hour of recorded classes a month. Filmina Pro raises those limits for US$8 a month.

How much does Filmina Pro cost?

US$8 a month, billed monthly. Recharging Pro within the same month costs US$5.

Do I need a credit card to use Filmina?

No. You sign up with your email and use the Free plan without entering any payment details. You only pay if you go Pro, on Stripe's page.

Is there a free trial of Filmina Pro?

No. The Free plan is the way to try Filmina: it has the same features as Pro, with lower limits, and it doesn't expire.

Can I cancel Filmina Pro anytime?

Yes. You cancel from Filmina settings › Subscription, or without signing in from the Cancellation button on the website. You won't be charged again, and Pro lasts until the end of the period you paid for.

What happens to my files if I cancel Pro?

Nothing is deleted. When Pro ends, your account moves to the Free plan with all your files, notes, summaries and progress, and the Free limits apply again.

Can I get a refund?

Yes, within 14 calendar days of the purchase if you paid in US dollars, or 10 days if you paid in Argentine pesos, with no reasons needed. Email info@getfilmina.com from your account's email with the subject "Withdrawal". Automatic renewals don't start a new period.

Do unused minutes roll over to the next month?

No. Monthly limits start over on the first day of each month and what you didn't use doesn't carry over. The 60 welcome minutes of the Free plan are the exception: they don't expire.
